A dream keeps on rolling!

Charter ServicesIn 1994, Express Air Coach owner Paul Davis graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Aviation Administration. He moved to Chicago to work for United Airlines where much of his time was spent at O’Hare Airport. After 10 years in the airline business it didn’t take long for Paul to notice a great opportunity to get back to the Purdue campus and the community he loved. His vision was to fill a need for safe, reliable, and affordable transportation from Purdue to Chicago’s O’Hare Airport – a place he had grown to love.

2004 – Start Up

Paul’s experience and knowledge of O’Hare — the airline business, scheduling, and landside operations was extensive. So he took the next logical step to follow his dream. Paul bought a van, enlisted the help of family members and convinced his father, Jim Davis, to come out of retirement to help launch his venture. Express Air Coach starts its round trip service from Purdue University in West Lafayette/Lafayette, Indiana to O’Hare Airport in Chicago. It began with just one van with both Paul and Jim wearing two hats, driving and taking reservations.

2007 – Digital Launch

Express Air Coach launched an impressive web based automated reservation and dispatch system for customers to conveniently book and pay online for their reservation anytime/anywhere in the world with internet access. Express Air Coach was positioned to handle the ever growing demand for quality airport shuttle transportation to the premier International gateway airport in the Midwest, Chicago O’Hare.

2008 – Shopping Service

The requests from Express Air Coach customers for weekend trips to the Chicago suburbs precipitated a new Friday-Sunday service of taking passengers to Oakbrook Center for a quick trip back home for the weekend and/or shopping!

2011 – Charter Services

Ever expanding to fulfill customers’ needs, Express Air Coach now offers private rides and charter services. The coaches and vans are perfect for large/small groups for day trips or multi-day events. Safe transportation is provided for corporations, schools, churches, and senior citizen groups. 2013 – U of I Destinations Added

Express Air Coach adds daily service from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to Chicago O’hare. With up to 5 trips from each university per day, Express Air Coach gives it’s customers easy access to their flights.
